Drive Fitness is entering a Gold Coast Half Marathon team! It's still 5 months away & registration isn't even open but here are some early details to help your planning (and remind you to start training). 

Date, Time & Accomodation

The Gold Coast Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 6 July stating at 6am (recommended arrival time is 5am). We will have a team meeting point & time before the event for those interested in catching up before the start. Accommodation nearby is filling up fast so start making enquirers if you're looking at staying.

Registration, Prices & Teams

Registration opens on March 18 with an early bird price of $90, this increases to $110 on the 22 May. We will have a Drive Fitness team for you to register in which will save you 10% off registration fees. I will update everyone with team details as we get closer to the event.

Run Club, Training & Preparation

We will make some changes to our Run Club sessions starting March 15 to help everyone prepare however you will need to introduce an extra 1-2 runs each week of your own (3 runs per week would be a good goal). I will get a training plan out to give everyone an idea of how to progress leading up to the event.
