I started training with Drive Fitness at the beginning of the year. When I was looking for a PT to train with, I was just looking for something to keep me exercising but I’ve found so much more.

I recently took on the Drive Fitness 10 Week Transformation Challenge and achieved a weight loss of 17kg. In addition to this I have increased my overall strength and improved my lifting technique.

My main focus at Drive Fitness would be my strength training. My trainers have helped me achieve my lifting goals by being attentive and tailoring sessions to me and my needs. Josh will find where my weak spots are in my lifts and we will do exercises and stretches to strengthen these. He also helps me set realistic and achievable goals.

I also find Dave’s weightlifting events a great motivator to work toward my goals.

I am really happy with my results from the 10 week transformation challenge. I feel like I can take on other challenges that I would not have ever thought I could before this. It feels nice to be fitting into suits I haven’t worn for 5 years! I am also happy with how my strength training is going and I am looking forward to continuing this and pushing myself harder for future competitions.

My highlights for the 10 week challenge was adopting a whole new lifestyle. The first couple of weeks were hard to adjust to the new regime and portion controlled meals however there was a turning point where it all just became easy and routine. During the 10 weeks I also tested my 1 rep bench max and found that I was right on the cusp of benching 140kg.

I’m really glad I found such a great place and a great group of people to train with. I look forward to the many upcoming events and to continue working towards my overall goal of one day competing at a national powerlifting event.
