Travelling To & From The Event

Due to the course change this year and the different starting and finishing points we recommend using public transport to get to and from the event. The Drive Fitness trainers will be meeting at the Tarragindi studio (19 Kuring Gai Ave, Tarragindi) @ 4:45am and walking to the Holland Park Busway together before the event. We will also be heading back to the Tarragindi studio by bus from the finish. Please feel welcome to join us for the travel - details below. 

Race Pack Pick Up

Don't forget to collect your race pack from me! I will pick up everyone's race pack who registered in the Drive Fitness team unless you selected to have it mailed to you in which case you should already have it. I will have your rack pack available for collection from Drive Fitness Tarragindi (19 Kuring Gai Ave, Tarragindi) at the following times:

  • Thursday 24 August: 4pm-8pm
  • Friday 25 August: 5:30am-9:30am
  • Sunday 28 August (event day): 4:30am-5am

If you require a different time to pick up your race pack please let me know and I'll try to arrange something else for you.

Race Start Times

You should aim to arrive at the start line at least 30min early to get to your correct zone and allow time to warm up. Race times are as follows:

  • 6:30am Red Runners
  • 6:40am Green Runners
  • 6:55am Yellow runners

Meeting before the event & travelling In

If you'd like to travel to the event with the Drive Fitness Team here is our schedule:

  • Arrive at Drive Fitness Tarragindi @ 4:45am.
  • Collect race pack at the studio if you haven't already.
  • You're welcome to leave gear locked in the studio if you like.
  • Leave Drive Fitness Tarragindi on foot before 5am to arrive at Holland Park Busway @ 5am-5:15am.
  • Arrive at race office tent near start line at 6am to meet other Drive Fitness team members, allow time to get to the correct zones & warm up.

Meeting at the event before the start

If you're not travelling in with us but would like to meet up with the Drive Fitness Team before the race we will be arriving at the race office tent near the start line @ 6am. 

Meeting after the event & travelling home

Following the run catch up with other Drive Fitness team members near the main stage at the finish line. We will be making our way back to the Tarragindi studio by bus after we finish in small groups but feel welcome to make your own arrangements at your own pace.

I will have the Tarragindi studio open from 8am-10am for those that have left gear there. Come back and join us for a coffee if you feel like it (I'll be there).
