The 10th Annual Drive Fitness 4 Week Workout Series returns on the 19 August 2024 for its 10th consecutive year! The inaugural 4 Week Workout Series appeared on the Drive Fitness event schedule in 2015 and was instantly met with enthusiasm from both clients and trainers. It has remained a permanent fixture ever since and it’s a yearly highlight prioritised by many; blocked out on the calendar, holidays booked around it and work shifts rescheduled to ensure 4 weeks of uninterrupted, focused workout participation.

In recognition and celebration of 10 years we will be bringing back 4 of your favourite workouts from previous 4 Week Workout Series events. I have been tirelessly perusing the archives over the last 12 months examining past entries to ensure that I and the Drive Fitness team bring you the BEST OF THE 4 WEEK WORKOUT SERIES in 2024!

For those new to the 4 Week Workouts Series It’s our opportunity to challenge you with 4 unapologetically tough workouts - 1 workout a week for 4 weeks that test your strength, fitness & technique. You can use it as a way to mix up your training, to monitor your progress or compete with others - it’s up to you and it’s only as competitive as you want it to be. The Drive Fitness personal training team will be doing the workouts with you too. Workouts are announced a week in advance, have fun!

WHO CAN GET INVOLVED?

Everyone who trains at Drive Fitness is welcome to take part in the 4 Week Workout Series. It's not about winning but about taking on new challenges and finding ways to keep training varied & exciting. If you're interested in participating let your trainer know so we can help you prepare. 

WHY SHOULD I GET INVOLVED?

Ultimately, it's just for fun BUT you can use your results as your own fitness bench mark to monitor improvements or you can compare your results with other participants from all Drive Fitness locations to see how you stack up (we will announce overall winners for those of you interested in the competitive component). You can even compare your results to the Drive Fitness personal training team!

HOW IT WORKS...

  • Workouts will require a combination of strength, fitness & technique and are deliberately designed to be challenging.

  • Workouts will include a combination of exercises that you typically encounter in your personal training sessions, your trainer will help you prepare in advance so you can complete the workouts safely.

  • Workouts are to be completed during your personal training session within the scheduled week - 1 workout each week for the 4 week period.

  • Workouts will be announced at least 1 week in advance of the scheduled start date.

  • Each workout will be scored and the scores from all 4 workouts will be combined to determine overall results.
