It's that time again... Drive Fitness Christmas Party time! Join us for a casual catch up out of training for a food diary exempt evening (there's no surprise exercise involved - I promise). Drinks available from the bar & finger food provided all night, awards presented and 50 Day Weight Loss Challenge winners announced. It's a huge night and we would love your company. Don't miss the last strength challenge for the year - the Dead Lift Challenge is 2 weeks away! Our goal for the Dead Lift Challenge is to provide an opportunity for you to achieve your best possible lift - it's not about what everyone else is doing, it's about you and your personal best. We're not pro powerlifters nor are we aspiring to be but we do like to set strength goals and see strength improvements. Over 20 people from Drive Fitness will be running on the Goldcoast Marathon Weekend in events from 10km through the full 42km. It's not too late to get a late entry in. Check out our team meeting point info, race details, registration instructions etc here...
31 people kicked off bright and early to tackle a hilly (but fun) 12km trail walk from Silky Oaks car park at Mt Cootha, along the challenging but scenic Powerful Owl trail to gap creek reserve. On our return trip we took on the Kokoda track which includes a hill that makes even the strongest legs shaky - everyone was able to tough it out to the top!
Well done to everyone who participated in the 7th Annual Drive Fitness Bench Press Challenge on Saturday 31 May. Great results, countless personal bests & a fantastic atmosphere made for another great event. We would like to thank everyone involved for making it such an enjoyable morning and for creating the supportive environment that our events have become famous for.
