Introduction to Weight Training 4 Week Course - Starting Friday 10 November

Are you new to weight training or have never been in a gym before? Are you unsure where to start, what to do or how to train safely? Join us for a 4 week course specifically intended to help people get started with weight training for the first time and feel confident beginning with a weight training program. The course will cover correct technique for a range of weight training exercises covering the whole body, how to set correct posture & spinal alignment to ensure safety during lifting, how to activate (‘switch on’) core muscles to keep the lower back safe, how to develop hip and shoulder stability for joint health and how to warm up properly before weight training. You can bring your friends along to any of your personal training or boot camp sessions during September 2023 and they can join you absolutely free. There is no limit - bring as many friends as you like to as many sessions as you like.

Congratulations to all competitors for taking part in the 9th annual Drive Fitness 4 Week Workout Series. I hope you appreciated the extra challenge, had the oppurtunity to try something new & had fun along the way.

The total score for the 4 week workout series is calculated by adding together your places for all 4 workouts - lower total score the better.
