Drive Fitness is entering a team in the Brisbane Running Festival and we’d love you to join us! We’ll be focusing our running training around the 10km event this year and we would love to help as many people as possible run their first ever 10km, first 10km in a long time or fastest 10km ever! Event Details

All events take place on Sunday 7 June and start and finish at the River Stage. Full event details including course maps, travel information etc can be found here: https://www.brisbanemarathon.com.au.

Race Start Times

You should aim to arrive at the start line at least 30min before the scheduled start to get to your correct zone and allow time to warm up.

Race times are as follows:

  • 2km (kids) - 11:15am start & finish @ River Stage

  • 5km - 10:30am start & finish @ River Stage

  • 10km - 7am start @ Colchester St & finish at River Stage

  • Half Marathon - 6am start @ Colchester St & finish at River Stage

  • Marathon - 6am start @ Colchester St & finish at River Stage

Run Club

Join us on Saturday mornings 6am @ Drive Fitness Tarragindi for self paced group runs. If you'd like more info about run club or about a training program leading up to the event please feel welcome to give me (Dave) a call on 0402 358 127 or email dave@drivefitness.com.au.

How to Register

  1. Goto: https://www.brisbanemarathon.com.au.

  2. Click ENTER in the top navigation menu

  3. Choose your event distance & click continue

  4. Follow the registration process & select to join a team (there is a 10% discount for joining the team)

  5. Search for the Drive Fitness team & select

  6. Complete registration & payment process

  7. Start training!

TRANSPORT & MEETING POINTS

  • We will be meeting 30min before the 10km event near the start zone at Colchester Street.

  • More details about meeting points and times will be announced closer to the event.

TRAINING PROGRAMS

  • We have a 6 week lead in program available through our app for anyone looking to get started with running for the first time or returning to running after a long break.
